Thought I would start this game to help pass time during the off season, the idea is you post a question and the first person to answer and get it right posts their own question.

If the person who answers the question does not post a question within 24 hours then another member can post a new question to keep the thread going.

I'll start it off.....

Who was the first batsman to score 10,000 runs in Test cricket?

Quite correct Alex. I was just checking that you were on the ball!

It was Sunil Gavaskar.

It seems a pity to let this die if the winner doesn't come back for a while.

Can I ask a question?  Or even 2 connected ones?

I have witnessed England's lowest scores v West Indies home and away.  I was very young at the first one, honest!

Where was I and when?

Which Lancashire player(s) got a first ball duck?

Yeah I think that's fair enough, I will edit the original post to add a 24 hour time limit to ask a question.

Chris, your answer is as "the curate's egg, good in parts". The lowest score in West indies was at Port-of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago, not Jamaica.

You did not complete the question regarding "Where was I? The answer I think was 1976 and 1994 respectively

Alex, my apologies for not setting a question. I think your idea of a 24 hour time limit is an excellent solution.

Chris.  Old Trafford and Atherton correct

JohnJames. Trinidad and 1976 and 1994 correct

But there is an answer missing. There is another Lancashire batsman.

That was going to be my thinking, although I was wondering about Clive Lloyd or Carl Hooper? :-k Although they are both before my time so they are just a stab in the dark!
