After a superb win in Bristol, Surrey come to the Gardens. They always have internationals in their side including Kumar Sangakkara and will be a boon for our youngsters to get another win against them. And why not?

One of our own internationals in Timm will hopefully be back for selection for our first home tie. Despite the forecast there should be something of a game...hopefully a full day as you never know.

2 memory matches this time...1999 Sunday League at Ynysyngharad Park in Pontypridd when our other international Jacques smashed the Glam list A batting record...

Also the two day semi at the Gardens a year later to continue the retro B&H day game.
Yet another time when our nation were made proud...

On paper you would expect this to be a very tough game and I would think that Surrey will be smarting, having let Somerset reach 291 from 22-5!?!

If we can play as we did the other day though, then there is a chance.

Not sure why TvdG not playing if fit.
Don't agree with Carlson having to go in at 3 and not sure that Selman might be a better option to open with Lloyd struggling. More than enough stroke players in the line up.

76/2 after 16
Be great to get to 100 after 20 as there is a few spits of rain in the air.
Rudolph and Ingram set in...hopefully the rain won't be though!
Very low crowd...floating support no doubt put off by the forecast.

Ingram another good knock for 72 likewise Rudolph 52 in a big partnership.
Lights on from the start too..both Currans in the Surrey side.
175/5 in the 36th.

Would be better playing these games on outgrounds with lower admission prices, I see under 17s get FREE admission why not offer that to OAPs
Will Bragg retires.
