Fortunately only had to bowl 42 overs. Am not sure that we can carry on with just 3 effective bowlers as pitches get better and we might be out there for 100+ overs. Seems a bit over-cautious selecting 8 batsmen.

Day 3 close
Middlesex 194
Glamorgan 38/4

My thanks to Dai of Ponty.

Selman and Murphy opened the batting again.
With the score on 17 Murtagh trapped Murphy lbw for 4.
When Marsh was on 4 Murtagh had him lbw.
Selman was soon out bowled by Murtagh for21 with the score on 34-3 who also had Donald first ball. 34-4
They went off for bad light at 3.30pm with the score on Glam 38-4.

Seems like conditions for quick bowlers. Fingers crossed for a batting point tomorrow weather permitting.

Yep, a good start and I agree with those saying that we need to look at the 4th bowler situation.
I've got a feeling that they have a plan and are now going to stick with it until it goes wrong. 3 seamers + Lloyd + Salter. Personally I think it needs changing before it goes wrong. The fear is a failure of the batting but if they stop the opposition scoring an extra 100 runs then they can lose a batsman. OK with wickets that have plenty for the bowlers but could get into problems on a flatter track which with some fine weather they may get on Friday.
