I see he is still just 28 years old. He seems to have become something of a forgotten man, though his loan spell at Northants was quite successful. I don't know how effective his bowling is now?

Whilst Chapple remains coach, I can only see the number of games that he plays for the 1st XI diminishing. Parry was installed as the number one spinner last year, in a containing role. Kerrigan only played a couple of championship games early in the season. IIRC Parkinson was injured at that time. Parkinson played 5 of the last 6 matches.

At the moment Kerrigan is at best third spinner, possibly also behind Lilley.

He played two RL50 games. Probably again whilst Parkinson was injured or maybe just before Chapple realised Parkinson was our best wicket taking spinner.

Never really played T20 despite reasonable stats.

I doubt he will bowl himself back into contention in the seconds and Fulwood & Broughton is clearly a big step down the league pyramid.
