Whilst I take your point re Chanderpaul/ Livingstone and you may be right (absolutely or at least more often than not), on that bit, I am not sure what you mean by the other bit. Those four are on the tour so aren’t missing from it.

sorry, totally misread your post. It read like it was a team to be selected for lancs and asking who was missing from that 11.

Ah yes. I actually started off with a list but part way through realised I could make it into a team.

so the correct answer to that is Josh Bohannon, side injury whilst bowling in Aus

So that’s 22 plus Faulkner then. How many will be available all season is to be seen.

Old Trafford covered in snow this morning. Practice in Dubai could seem like another sport

There are 14 + 2 non contracted players on pre season.
The 11 you mention (inc Faulkner) plus Bohannon.

So that's 25 plus Faulkner.

Anderson, Buttler certainly missing most of the season.
https://www.ecb.co.uk/england/lions/fixtures
so the Lions will be pretty busy in from end of June and a 4 day match mid July
so add Livingstone, Davies, Hameed, Jennings, Parkinson and Mahmood from possibly 2 championship matches plus a couple of T20 depending on selection.

Good practice for when the Graves Harrison T20 Cup at takes away a similar number of players in 2020.

Lancs would have minimum of:
Brown
Jones
Croft*
Vilas+
Chanderpaul
Lamb / Lilley
Clark
Bailey
Mennie
Parry
Onions
available

Ridiculously so.

A good job those 11 weren’t available!

win looks like it was helped a little by some of Surrey's batsmen's shots:

Last match of the tour tomorrow against Glamorgan.

UAE were maybe not the strongest but nice to see younger players like Guest and Sanders make fine contributions.

Liam Hurt must be hurt as he hasn't played at all so far.
